non capisco questo rialzo sinceramente dopo i dati cinesi ma va be..io ho inziato ad accumulare anche gold a 1210,30 (spot) a protezione dei long su stoxx presi a 2742 di pmc..in area 2900-3000 conto di prendere profitto e incrementare il gold..vorrei iniziare ad accumulare anche EUR/USD ma aspetto draghi...se questo è un rimbalzo non credo andremo oltre i 9500 di dax-3000 di stoxx a 18000 di fib (se ci arriviamo)...finche gold sta sopra 1200 e usd/jpy sta sotto i 116 per me sempre di rimbalzo parliamo..vedremo.

La finanza non ha più niente a che vedere con l'economia passata, presente o futura è solo un gioco fra macchinette e telefonate che concertano quello che vogliono fare.

personalmente penso che un hedge (se ben calcolato) dax/gold o stoxx/gold sia un win-win..credo che sul gold sia partito un nuovo trend di quelli seri..poi se ci pensate deflazione=mondo crolla=oro esplode e inflazione=ripresa=gold sale.. l unico scenario che non rendera proficuo il trade è quello di mezzo (e ovviamente sara quello) pero non si sa mai e penso che gold offra la giusta copertura in ambedue gli scenari(estremi)..se qualcuno vuol condividere qualche opinione in merito gli saro grato.

Draghi says ECB to possibly reconsider monetary policy

There are no promises in the text of the comments from Draghi. The euro dipped to session lows after the comments hit the wires but it's bounced back.

"The ECB is ready to do its part. As we announced at the end of our last monetary policy meeting in January, the Governing Council will review and possibly reconsider the monetary policy stance in early March. The focus of our deliberations will be twofold. First, we will examine the strength of the pass-through of low imported inflation to domestic wage and price formation and to inflation expectations. This will depend on the size and the persistence of the fall in oil and commodity prices and the incidence of second-round effects on domestic wages and prices. Second, in the light of the recent financial turmoil, we will analyse the state of
transmission of our monetary impulses by the financial system and in particular by banks. If either of these two factors entail downward risks to price stability, we will not hesitate to act."

Nel breve bastava andare long anche solo venerdì... inversioni a V alle quali eravamo abituati non è detto che si verifichino ancora, x quanto x chi ama l'analisi grafica.. qualcosa penso ci possa stare.. voglio dire che a me pare che l'incertezza che il mercato esprime dovremmo farla propria e cercare di lavorarci dentro

The pair also broke 1.1150, touching a few pips below. Technically, the break clears the way to last week's low of 1.1085.

Commenti: 5148 Utente 26 lug : 16:46 Replica a questo	a mio parere probabilmente eurodolla oscillerà in un range per un po... tipicamente area 1.13 - 1.07. quindi si comprano i picchi e si vende la parte bassa del range. questo probabilmente nel primo semestre. Piu avanti credo che torneranno di moda i discorsi sulla parità.

Credit Agricole on the euro

The EUR has been in demand for most of the last few weeks, irrespective of firm expectations of the ECB acting anew in March. If anything most of the currency's upside can be related to position squaring related upside on the back of increased risk aversion.

This is especially true as speculative EUR short positioning remained elevated. However, as of now positioning has reached more neutral territory and that may suggest that monetary policy expectations will become a more important currency driver anew. When it comes to the ECB, it must be noted that inflation expectations as measured by 5Y inflation swaps fell to multi-year lows, irrespective of Draghi making a bigger case of additional policy action in March.

We believe that levels above 1.13-1.14 will ultimately prove unsustainable, as increased downside risks to inflation should increase the risk of the ECB surprising on the dovish side, indeed in contrast with December last year.
