i mercati continuano a restare in modalità "risk on" : le news di un "QE" alla cinese di ieri, , l attesa vittoria dei NO in scozia e un intervista a Hilsenrath (giornalista molto vicino alla fed, che ha detto che hanno la fed non toglierèà il "considerable time" stasera ) fstanno tenendo i mercati in questo mood rialzista. il rally , partito ieri alle 17.45 circa, ha anche depresso i bonds : i lbund e' scesa da 148.70 fino a 148.04 low di ieri. stasera il primo degli avvenimenti clou di questa settimana con il meeting della fed seguito dalla conferenza stampa della Yellen alle 2030. domani sera i risultati del referendum scozzese (qualcuno riesce a sapere a che ora chiudono le urne, e se sono disponibili subito degli exit polls??) il fib ha rotto al rialzo la trendline che viene dai massimi di 21490. RESISTENZE DEL FIB - la prima importante resistneza di volumi è a 21080
- segue quindi un area senza volumi 21240-50 molto netta e ben visibile anche sui normali grafici a barre
- una resistenza di volumi a 21305
- infine 21465/21490 massimi di periodo

Replica a questo | Il FIB ha volumi molto bassi o sbaglio? tra l'altro siamo sotto rollover quindi dovrebbero essere almeno un pochino più gonfiati e invece scambi sul book veramente da ferragosto |

LONDRA, 17 settembre (Reuters) - Alla vigilia del referendum
sull'indipendenza della Scozia, il fronte del "sì" oggi risulta
sceso leggermente al 48% secondo un sondaggio Panelbase.
Il sondaggio, che non è stato condotto per conto di alcun
media, mostra che tra gli scozzesi chiamati a votare - tolto il
5% di indecisi - il 52% è favorevole a restare nel Regno Unito.
L'ultimo sondaggio Panelbase per il referendum era stato
pubblicato sabato scorso e dava il "sì" al 49% contro il 51%dei
"no".

Replica a questo | As the results are released (estimated to be between 02:00 and 06:00 on Friday morning) I calculate that there should be expected to be a meaningful swing between the cumulative vote indicating a “yes” and “no” result.
Most significantly, between about 03:00 and 05:00, a sizeable bias towards “yes” (of up to around 3 percentage points) should be revealed in the running total of the vote, before a “no” is revealed as being the final result. This is because many of the districts with the highest likelihood of voting “yes” – generally those that are in the West of the Central Belt (starting in and around Glasgow) and then moving roughly North and East through Alloa, Falkirk, Stirling, Perth and then up towards Dundee and Angus all are expected to release their results in a compressed period of between about 03:00 and 03:30.
GBP will be trading in Asia during this period. I haven’t seen anyone else writing about the importance of the phasing of the results release so, it could come as a bit of a shock to the market to see a “yes” vote seemingly winning during the middle phases of the count – of course, this would be GBP negative during the Asian session.
Obviously there is a lot of uncertainties in this analysis;
• The estimations from the Scottish Electoral Commission may prove to be inaccurate.
• Vote share in each district is based upon eligible population estimates not registered voter numbers.
• The betting market may not be indicating a fair probability for each district.
• There might be wide variances in turnout between districts.

Perchè sento x lo più parlare dei guai che dovrà affrontare la Scozia se si separa, ma ho letto ad esempio che ci sono banche inglesi che sposterebbero la loro sede a Edimburgo |

Replica a questo | si i giornali fanno terrorismo psicologico per convincere la gente a votare si. Nella pratica c'e' un esempio che si puo ' usare ed e' quello della separazione tra cechi e slovacchi. il pil crollo' del 40% mi sembra.
Ma vorrei anche ricordare che questo referendum e' solo consultivo. Il risultato nel medio termine sara' di pompare piu' soldi in scozia, con ovvi impatti su sterlina e gilts (giu').

Replica a questo | mi è sembrata un medico, attenta a non spaventare il paziente.. certo questa forza del dollaro è cmq curiosa, vediamo come reagiranno i mercati, speriamo a sto punto non con un "tanto peggio tanto meglio", visto che l'attenzione dovrebbe essere più che mai sui dati |
